Baby Changing Tables

Baby Changing Tables

When you buy one of the many baby changing tables available you are  making an important decision, which shouldn’t be taken lightly.

Jenny Lind Baby Changing Table

If you are severely restricted on space you could go for a folding diaper table that can be stored away after use, but to save time & energy why not go for a solid changing unit that can also be used for storage space & become part of the nursery decor.

This Jenny Lind Da Vinci changing table is a dedicated changer that would fit in perfectly in any modern nursery setting.  The sleek clean design means that you can add accessories like storage baskets to fit in with  your particular color scheme.

Babyletto Baby Changing Table Dark Chocolate

Many manufactures have a range of styles that include baby furniture sets so you can get your changing table & crib to match.

The Babyletto three drawer changer in the Newhaven style looks almost edible in this rich deep chocolate color.  You can also get a set of drawers & baby crib in this design.

Other options are convertible baby changing tables where there is a removable top surface.  The beauty of the baby table & dresser combination is that you have drawers and/or shelves to keep all your essential baby items & when your child no longer needs the changing station, the top portion can be removed leaving you with a stylish & functional piece of furniture that can be used for many years to come.

The first thing to consider as with anything to do with babies is safety.

Is the unit study enough to withstand the weight of your little one now & in the months to come?

Remember to account for the wriggle factor.  Solid wood items & ones that also double as a dresser will likely be very strong, but if you are thinking about buying a folding table then make sure you are 100 % happy with the strength.

Also ensure that any item of baby furniture that you buy is compliant with current safety standards & that it is made from non-toxic materials.  There should also be a lip or guardrail in place to stop your child from falling off, generally speaking the higher this is the better.

The next thing to consider is the height & width of the changing unit, the height for you & the width for your infant.  You should be able to change baby without having to bend, in years to come your back will thank you for it.  Widthwise make sure that the unit is not to narrow for baby to move around but small enough to stop too much wandering.

Storage is very important because you want to have all the items that you need on hand without having to leave your baby unattended.  Make sure the unit has adequate room for linen, diapers, baby wipes, diaper rash cream,  baby clothing & blankets & anything else you want to keep on hand.

A number of tasks can be carried out on the solid surface of baby changing tables, including trimming newborn fingernails. Here’s a few tips.

I like the third tables because it has drawer and looks modern. I don’t like to keep my baby’s stuff in open space, like the first baby changing table.

i used to use a similar changing table to the white one you feature above. it was a great idea, because it not only had the table for changing but you could store your child cloths below. i saved a lot of space within our nursery.

When choosing the right kind of changing table it is important to make sure it has enough storage space to hold all of the items that will be readily available when changing the baby.

I like this baby changing table product. With the correct height, I am sure it will help me change my baby’s clothes without bending which I have to do now when I change his clothes on bed. What would be the cost of this furniture?

  12. My wife and I want to buy a baby changing table but don’t really have the room. I’ve seen the playpins that have the changing table attachment with them……… do they make anything like that for a crib?

Before you make any purchase of newborn furniture you should always shop around for best capabilities and designs that suits you and your youngster’s specific taste along with liking; because you constantly want to give the best things to your infant but at the same time, you would like your home to produce a sense of excellent taste.
